Amazon Customer 5.0 out of 5 stars   Thought Provoking and Inspiring Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2024 I agree with the previous reviewer that the character development is captivatin g. I would tell myself, "Just one more chapter" and end up reading several more. The interwoven relationships remind the reader that we influence others (for good or bad) by our attitudes, words, and actions. What may seem insignificant to us, may have a powerful impact on others. Who would have thought that an 1831 painting of a dog would inspire an author to write such a wonderful book? I'm thankful that the dog inspired the painter, who in turn, inspired the author, who inspired this reader. My author website has just been posted (below).  Also, link to "Barking at the Moon", a BBC broadcast with my interview. https://barryfstebbing.com https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0hjb4r2

Cedric - Footprints in the Sand: Reviews on Amazon

Greeting: The first week out Cedric has met with great reviews! Becky Beck 5.0 out of 5 stars   A Classic-Good, True and Beautiful! Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2024 A classic book is one that can be enjoyed by anyone from 4 to 80. 'Cedric' fits the bill and will soon be a classic! Cedric is good and true and beautiful. Just read it and see for yourself. The beauty and terror of the sea come alive in the Victorian era, along with crusty old characters in need of redemption, intertwined with the story of a truly amazing dog, with a splash of delightful chaste romances. A deep love of God is strongly woven throughout the entire story. Personally, I am going to enjoy reading this book to my entire family! It's hard to find books that everyone will like but this one has the makings to be enjoyed by our 16 year old all the way down to our 4 year old, with all the kids in between! History has revealed the valor and compassion   many of these noble creatures have left upon the heart of man. And   could it be conceivable that such a noble creature could be knighted? Some   more faithful souls may even believe that God can use a dog much like   an angel. Our dear Cedric is an example of this in his sacrifice and   countless heroics. During a critical time in the Victorian Era, he would   rescue twenty-three souls from shipwrecks and capture the heart of all  Great Britain.
